Introduction

PCC is an application specifically designed for checking purine content in food ingredients. It helps users quickly understand the purine content of various ingredients and dishes, making it an essential tool for individuals who need to control purine intake, such as those with gout.


Key Features

  1. Ingredient Purine Content Search

    • Supports single ingredient search.
    • Allows multiple ingredients search (separated by commas).
    • Displays purine content values and classification levels.
  2. Dish Decomposition

    • Automatically breaks down complex dishes into individual ingredients.
    • Toggle the auto-decomposition feature on/off via the interface.
  3. Image Recognition

    • Supports taking photos or selecting images from the album.
    • Identifies dishes from images and decomposes them into ingredients.
  4. Theme Switching

    • Supports light mode.
    • Supports dark mode.
    • Follows the system theme setting.

How to Use

  1. Enter the name of an ingredient (e.g., “shrimp”) in the search bar.
  2. Click the “Search” button.
  3. View the purine content and classification level in the results.
  1. Enter multiple ingredient names, separated by commas (e.g., “shrimp, tofu, mushrooms”) in the search bar.
  2. Click the “Search” button.
  3. Switch between tabs at the top to view detailed information for each ingredient.

Using Image Recognition

  1. Click the camera icon to the left of the search bar.
  2. Choose to take a photo or select an image from the album.
  3. Wait for the system to analyze the image and decompose it into ingredients.
  4. View the recognition results and purine content information.

Dish Decomposition

  • Click the decomposition toggle on the right of the search bar to enable/disable the auto-decomposition feature.
  • Enabled: Entering a dish name will automatically decompose it into specific ingredients.
  • Disabled: The app will directly search for the entered content.

Theme Switching

  • Click the theme switch button at the bottom to toggle between three modes:
    • Light Mode: Always uses a light theme.
    • Dark Mode: Always uses a dark theme.
    • Follow System: Automatically switches based on the system’s theme setting.

Purine Content Reference Standards

  • High Purine: 150–1000 mg per 100g.
  • Moderately High Purine: 75–150 mg per 100g.
  • Moderately Low Purine: 30–75 mg per 100g.
  • Low Purine: <30 mg per 100g.

Notes

  1. API Key:

    • You need to configure an API key for full functionality on first use.
  2. Permissions:

    • The image recognition feature requires camera and album access permissions.
  3. Data Disclaimer:

    • All data is for reference only. Please consult a doctor for specific dietary advice.
  4. Network Requirements:

    • A stable internet connection is needed for accurate query results.
  5. Error Handling:

    • If recognition errors occur, it is recommended to manually input the query.
