PCC Privacy Policy

Data Collection

PCC is a purely local application that highly values user privacy. We take the following measures to protect your data:

  1. No Personal Information Collection:

    • The app does not require account registration or collect any personal user information.

  2. Local Data Storage:

    • API Keys: Stored only in the local deviceā€™s localStorage.
    • Theme Settings: Stored only in the local deviceā€™s localStorage.
    • Dish Decomposition Toggle State: Stored only in the local deviceā€™s localStorage.

  3. Image Processing:

    • All image processing is completed locally.
    • Uploaded images are compressed locally on the device.
    • Image data is only used for API analysis and is neither stored locally nor uploaded to our servers.

API Usage

The app uses the following API services to provide functionality:

  1. Text Embedding and Image Analysis:

    • Powered by SiliconFlowā€™s API services.
    • Only essential data (text or compressed images) is transmitted for analysis.
    • No historical records of API calls are retained.

  2. API Key Security:

    • API keys are stored only on the userā€™s local device.
    • Data is transmitted via HTTPS encryption.
    • Users can clear or modify API keys at any time.

  3. Third-Party Service Providers:

    • Query content and image data entered by users are processed via SiliconFlow or other API services chosen by the user.
    • We do not store any user data.

Data Security

  1. Local Data:

    • All data stored locally can be deleted by uninstalling the app.
    • No user data is backed up to the cloud.

  2. Network Security:

    • All API requests are transmitted via HTTPS encryption.
    • User search history is not collected.
    • User behavior is not tracked.

Permissions

The app only requests necessary device permissions:

  1. Camera Access:

    • Requested only when users actively use the camera function.
    • Permissions can be revoked at any time via device settings.

  2. Photo Album Access:

    • Requested only when users actively select photos.
    • Permissions can be revoked at any time via device settings.

Policy Updates

If there are any changes to the privacy policy, they will be explained during app updates. By continuing to use the app, you agree to the revised privacy policy.
